| The meeting having been duly noticed, it began at approximately 7:38 pm and was called to order by Christina Sand, President. There were introductions around the table, those present introduced themselves. | |
OLD Business: |
Web Site. Christina Sand reported that the K6SA web site is being redone and moved to a different host. |
New Business: |
Treasurer's Report. The Treasurer (Christina Sand, acting) reported that new checks are on order. ARRL renewals have been forwarded. |
| Minutes. The January and February minutes were approved as posted on the web site. | |
| Field Day. Field Day is June 23-24. We will probably operate two stations (vs just one, which was discussed). The value of a GOTA station is questionable. We need a Tech licensee to operate it, and it takes too long to set up given our limited resources and other priorities. | |
| Nets. The EOC-to-EOC monthly net check-in was accomplished this morning. The EOC radio has been moved from the desktop to the overhead cabinets since the last check-in. | |
Emergency Communications Committee Report. Christina Sand and John Glass reported the following:
|
|
| Presentation. The program for the evening was a presentation by N9JIM and W6BY of the 50MhzAndUp group. The first half of the presentation was devoted to various aspects of amateur microwave operation and the second half was a presentation on the restoration and use of the old Jamesburg Dish located in Carmel Valley. | |
| Emergency Services. There was no report from Jim Yoke. | |
| The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 pm | |
