S.A.R.A. Minutes of Meeting of
January 3, 2007
Location: Saratoga Fire Department
The minutes were respectfully submitted by Don Steinbach, Secretary.
 
In attendance were:

The meeting having been duly noticed, it began at approximately 7:30 pm and was called to order by Christina Sand. There were introductions around the table, those present introduced themselves.

OLD Business:

None.
   

New Business:

 Treasurer's Report. The Treasurer was not present and, therefore, did not give his report.
  Minutes. The December minutes have been posted on the web site and were approved as written.
  Signature Card. Christina has the signature card for Downey Savings. Fabrizio Corno and Don Steinbach need to sign.
  BOD Meeting. There will be a Board of Directors meeting on January 17. Approval of the amended bylaws will be one of the topics for discussion.
  Emergency Communications Committee Report. Rob Vance updated us on the following items:
  • The Golden Guardian exercise was enlightening. Particularily in that messages had to be passed as written, even if they were obviously flawed and only going to raise more questions.
  • There will be another drill in the spring.
  • Don Steinbach is now one of the Saratoga AECs.
  • Our involvement with the City TIS radio will be primarily to integrate and install the electronic equipment. The TIS antenna will not be on the 70' pole being addressed by the City Council tonight.
  • There is a possibility that the K6SA repeater will be relocated to City property and have an antenna on the new 70' pole.
  Station License. The license for the club station/repeater (K6SA) has been renewed. The new expiration date is 11-04-2016. John Glass remains the trustee.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:42 pm.
