S.A.R.A. Minutes of Meeting of
April 13, 2005
Location: Saratoga City Hall

The meeting having been duly noticed, it began at approximately 7:30 pm and was called to order by John Glass. There were introductions around the table, those present introduced themselves.

OLD Business:

None.
   

New Business:

 Treasurer's Report. Greg read a report prepared by Christina of our current bank account balance. We have two new members (Kevin Rowett and Frank Nemec). Membership is currently at 28 with 18 voting members. Quorum is 6 members. Membership is down by 6 since last years total was 34.
  Minutes. The March minutes were approved.
  Field Day 2005. Yin reported that a site survey was done at Castle Rock which is where we will be meeting for Field Day. A quick clean up of the site is planned for June 2nd or 3rd. Most likely it will be Saturday morning. It was announced that Rob will be co-ordinating the field day operations. Logistic support was requested from all those interested, please volunteer. Details of the site set up and operating stations are being worked out by Yin and Dave. There was a suggestion that we rent a toilet. John suggested that we have 1 or 2 more planning meetings TBD.
  National Volunteers Week. The City of Saratoga will recognise volunteers on Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
  Presentation. Don Anastasia, AA6W, played a video "Ham Radio in Space".
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:35 pm.
