New Business:
- Field Day: Richard Crouch, N6RC, in collaboration with Christina Sand, KG6ORH, have made arrangements to access a mountain site for an informal Field Day event. The site is exactly 1 mile South on Hwy 35 from the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 9. The site is an old fire lookout. Several members indicated they may attempt to come, but were not able to commit to a schedule. Field Day is the weekend of June 25-27, 2004. Richard will contact the Saratoga News about getting some coverage. Rob will contact KSAR for the same. Greg, KG6HDI will work on a map. Richard says the plan is to have a 40/80 dipole, tribander, and an IC-706 will a 400W amp. He has a 2000W generator. Detailed logistics are still under development. Contact Christina or Richard for more information.
- VHF contest is coming up this weekend.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:48 PM.
