S.A.R.A. Minutes from meeting on 6/11/2003

Meeting started at about 7:38pm.

Old Business:

• Greg Reynolds read minutes from last meeting.

New Business:

• The 2M and the 10M nets were not held due to lack of a net control person.
• Rob's plan is to put tone on the RPTR output but there are some technical problems that need to be addressed first.
• Treasurer's report. Account has balance of $861.71 and 17 members for 2003. 16 were renewals from last year. (N6RC paid $10 at this meeting).
• The by-laws are posted on the website please review and provide comments.
• The handbook was emailed to individuals
• There was a request for an update on the fire station construction progress.
• We agreed that the club will not participate in Field Day this year.
• Echolink interface board was donated by N6IWJ, Thank You! Rob drew a block diagram of the repeater setup at his home and also described how Echolink was interfaced to it. He handed out a repeater code sheet to members present at the meeting. Also included was an Echolink code sheet and an Echolink summary and tips. A S.A.R.A. member contact list for 2002-2003 was at the back of the handout.

Meeting concluded a little after 9pm.
