Saratoga Amateur
Radio Association
Minutes
of the monthly meeting of December 11, 2001
Submitted
by John Glass, NU6P, SARA Secretary for 2002
The meeting was called to
order by President Don Anastasia, AA6W at 730 PM,
with 8 people present.
We reviewed the October
meeting, and talked about the Halloween activity.
A few ideas were discussed
for making next year's activity even better, and we
will be working on
implementing them.
Rob gave us a summary of
the activities that took place during the November 15
SET. He said that it was a great opportunity to
show our presence at city hall.
Next, we reviewed the
welcome letter and membership form that Rob Vance has created.
It was decided to send
these to all hams in Saratoga, including existing
members, so that we can get
updated information from everyone.
It is our hope that this
mailing will generate more interest in the club, and
help us recruit new
members.
A motion was made by John
Glass, and seconded by Lou Degive, authorizing up
to 100 dollars of club
money to be used for this mailing.
Election Results:
Nominations were held, with
the following individuals elected to office. Thanks
to all for agreeing to

If it is determined that we
need to elect directors for 2002, we will hold the
election at our January
meeting.
There being no further
business before the association, the meeting was
adjourned at approximately
8:30 PM.
